Natures Benefit On “Natural Cures ‘They’ Don’t Want You To Know About”

Mr. Kevin Trudeau has written a best selling book alleging that there are many natural cures for serious diseases. In many circumstances, Mr. Trudeau is referring to dietary supplements which cannot be used to diagnose, prevent or treat disease, at law. There are many credible, well intentioned practitioners of holistic medicine who use nutritional and herbal approaches to complement disease management, in ways that are advantageous. However, these trained and qualified practitioners of holistic medicine do not make curative claims. The modern movement of integrative medicine is damaged by the making of absurd and preposterous treatment claims by some individuals who sell dietary supplements or write popular healthcare literature that is not evidence based.

Natures Benefit Inc. will not engage in any personal attack or criticism of any individual, including Mr. Trudeau and his associates, who have made claims about cures which cannot be substantiated by scientific evidence. Unfortunately, there is a large number of people afflicted with serious, chronic disease who are desperate for a cure. In addition, there are some individuals who may interpret promises of cure as “truth” supported by science, in the absence of such science.

Natures Benefit Inc and other dietary supplement companies who sell valuable nutritionals in a legal and ethical manner, without the attachment of unsubstantiated treatment claims, suffer from marketing propaganda or unsubstantiated claims made by other parties or companies, who may exhibit cynical disregard for the law. Illegal treatment claims about supplements form part of serious unethical and unfair business practices among a minority group in the dietary supplement industry.

Natures Benefit Inc. sells several products that have been featured in other contexts as “natural cures”, but Natures Benefit Inc. does not support the notion of “cures” with dietary supplements and Natures Benefit Inc. will not subscribe to preposterous suggestions that Federal government agencies are corrupt in trying to withhold information relevant to the health of the nation.

No dietary supplement company, no individual, no branch of medicine and no Federal government agency lives in a perfect world. On the one hand, the dietary supplement industry cries foul of government regulation, with or without justification in some circumstances, but on the other hand the vast majority of members of the dietary supplement industry want to be lawful citizens and they are passionate about the future of the dietary supplement industry.
